It's if you have Javascript disabled on the page. Go to the options of your browser to change it.

Well my JS is activated on my Firefox, Safari, Opera and I have the same problem...

Weird, I have tested on Chrome 25, Firefox 19, Chrome on Android, Based Browser on Android 4.2 without problem. The height is auto defined in JS and if JS is blocked (by the browser, or with no script addon for example, you will have the bug) else I don't know why you have this problem.

I have added a message in the block to check if JS is enabled.
