STC9 is about to start this week, let's see groups, new system and other stuff from the most famous competition on TMNF !

The top 2 of each group will go to playoffs, so the first playoffs stage will be 1/8 this year !

What is still the same?

5v5
Match on Mondays
Every map pack will be released one week before the game
There will be no break between group stage and play-offs
Combining of TMNF teams is not allowed. However, it's allowed to have max 3 guest players in your team.
Multilaps are used(Only for Playoffs stages) with best-of-9 mode (up to 5 points)

The first group is not the harder of the tournament, normally the last revelation of TMT, FOW and Dac-Sp, should offer two tickets for the playoffs

This is the group of death! The 6 teams are actually able to reach the playoffs in other groups, but there, the 5 games will be hellish, and each card will count ! eSuba, seeded, will not have an easy task especially against the face two French teams! Group very interesting, no doubt that the team will head out, will get great chance to reach the quarter-finals of the competition at least !

The third group seems pretty imbalance between the three strong teams that are RTA, Mçon and wX and the other three, however, there will be only two seats for the playoffs .. RTA and wX should fight for 1st place but RTA's last year results can't let the first place gone...so the direct confrontation between wX and MCON may be decisive for second slot !

An open group here, ANE remains favorite team of course, but be careful because TRT and Antis have already proved they could compete on minimaps with all top teams so everything is possible!

Still a fairly open, this time, we don't see BX3 be overtaken in the group stage. For the second ticket, the another Norwegian team and Dac-Sp2 should fight for ! Saw, vXa and WTF are all good minimaps teams, maybe we can assist to some surprises in this group...

In this group, two strong teams stand out, the Swedish Druidz and Elite, logically, they should compete in the first place, DDp seems a bit below the two favorites, but can hope a miss match from one of them, and why not issue a ticket to the playoffs!
